After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, we allocated one hundred million crowns to support activities related to the integration of war refugees into Czech society. In April, we opened our first foreign branch, specifically in Bratislava. In July, we expanded our board of directors from three to five members. Matěj Hušek and Ondřej Krišica, who held director positions at Seznam, joined the company’s top management. Our users now have the option to verify their Seznam Account using bank identity. Seznam Zprávy continued to develop audio production and launched the podcast 5:59, prepared by Lenka Kabrhelová’s team. Seznam.cz enriched its content with unique visual commentary on current events by renowned cartoonist Tomáš Břínek, alias TMBK. At the end of the year, we launched Seznam Médium, a platform for publishing original articles and commentary.
