The biggest novelty in 2001 was the Firmy.cz service. At launch, it contained 55,000 records with company contact details, including their financial results, current stock values, and a summary of general meetings. Companies could also pay for their display in the database according to selected keywords for the first time. Two new services appeared on the homepage: Sreality.cz and Seznam SMS gateway. Sreality.cz provided people with current real estate offers from agencies, and the Seznam SMS gateway allowed people to send SMS for free. The first of these services is still very successful today. The second is long forgotten, but at a time when SMS was a key communication element and their cost was high, the service was very popular.
