Pavel Zima became the CEO of Seznam. He nominated Michal Feix for his previous position as COO. During the year, we introduced the service Mixér.cz and a new version of Email. Počasí.cz and Sbazar.cz services were redesigned, and Seznam Search was significantly improved, bringing indexing of foreign language pages. The number of documents we could search increased from 400 million to 700 million. Our educational project Seznam se bezpečně presented the second part of the film, focusing on proper and cautious behavior on the internet. In 2012, we employed a thousand people.

In the competition, Seznam.cz received a Positive Award for protecting its users’ personal data.
