Support for Non-Profits
We have long-term collaborations with selected non-profit organizations. Our support raises awareness of their activities and helps reach new donors. We also offer short-term support through the Seznam Grant program.
Media Literacy
Our editorial team provides quality and independent news. Therefore, we aim to increase media literacy from students to seniors, the ability to search and verify information and trustworthy sources, and to appeal to personal judgment and critical thinking.
Fighting Disinformation
Our homepage is visited by nearly four million people daily. We do our utmost to ensure that only content that does not support hoaxes and disinformation reaches them.
Mapy.com for Everyone
Our services can also be used by people with disabilities or the blind. We have created tactile maps specifically for them, which can be navigated by touch.
Media Education Festival
Every summer, we organize the Media Education Festival, the only event of its kind in the Czech Republic, intended for educators and librarians. The multi-day festival consists of workshops, demonstration lessons, and visits to local editorial offices.
Seznamáci Help
Every year, we contribute to various collections of our partners, organize charity bazaars for clothes and toys, support their operations by purchasing products from sheltered workshops, or donate blood.
