Get to Know the Media
As part of the Get to Know the Media project, we collaborate with primary and secondary school teachers, providing them with the resources to create a comprehensive and practically applicable methodology for teaching media education.
Free Online Courses
We offer teachers from all over the Czech Republic free participation in online courses. In ninety minutes, they will become familiar with the proposed modules and methodologies and the principles of teaching them in their own classes.
Media Education Festival
Every summer, we organize the Media Education Festival, the only event of its kind in the Czech Republic, intended for educators and librarians. The multi-day festival consists of workshops, demonstration lessons, and visits to local newsrooms.
Media Education Academy
The academy helps teachers who have previously studied media education topics but have not yet applied media education in their teaching or are just starting with it.
Get to Know the Media 60+
An educational program for older individuals interested in media literacy who want to better understand media, the internet, social networks, or AI.
Downloadable Methodologies
With a dozen experienced teachers, we have created media literacy lessons, including instructional methodologies that show teachers how to work with the materials in class. Each lesson is designed for two teaching hours and contains all the materials needed to teach the topic. Lessons and methodologies are freely downloadable.
