Always on the Level
- We maintain the level of debate. Polite behavior on social media is a given.
- We always present ourselves seriously, politely, kindly, and factually.
- If we make a misunderstanding, we apologize and set things right.
We Don’t Hide
- In professional debates, we don’t hide that we’re from Seznam; on the contrary, we’re proud of it.
- We don’t create false “user satisfaction” by not admitting our affiliation with Seznam in discussions; we don’t need to.
- We avoid using the Seznam.cz logo or our other services in personal profiles, as it creates the same impression as a fake “satisfied client.”
Accuracy
When we provide or comment on information about Seznam, we strive for accuracy and correctness, thus building trust for ourselves and our employer.
Privacy
- We ensure the protection of our users’ sensitive information, so for technical support and specific information about our users’ accounts, we use secure channels, which do not include a Facebook wall, mention on Instagram, LinkedIn, or network X.
- Interpersonal and work-related issues at work are resolved personally, not through discussions on social media.
Partnership
- We seek common ground with fans. We want to be their partner, not an opponent.
- Even Seznam employees are partners in external communication for Seznam. If they find incorrect information about Seznam or our services, they try to politely point out the error and, if possible, correct the incorrect statement according to the facts.
- If employees want to highlight Seznam’s news, they share posts from official channels, FB fan pages, accounts on X, etc., or interpret them in their own words on their accounts.
- If Seznam employees find anything missing in our social media communication, have an interesting idea or link to share, we appreciate the input. Just let us know.
- If we want to share an update from our work life on social media (a colleague’s birthday celebration, fruit in the kitchens, sports meeting with colleagues, etc.), we add #Seznamaci to the post.
Confidentiality
- If we know sensitive company data, know in advance what services we are developing and what they look like, we understand that none of this information belongs on our personal social media profiles.
- Never communicate internal company information on your own. We first address it within PR, protect our colleagues’ privacy, and keep in mind the company’s good name.
