A recovery phone number is a required part of your Seznam account security. It is used to restore access to your account if you forget or lose your password.
To keep your account secure, we regularly ask you to review and, if necessary, update:
- your recovery phone number
- your recovery email address
You may see a security check prompt after signing in to your account or at any time while using Seznam services. The prompt is displayed as a dialog window.
Are your details still correct?
If your recovery details are up to date, select the checkboxes confirming that they are correct. This will enable the Continue button. Then click Continue.
Want to change your phone number?
When changing your phone number, you must enter your current password and verify the new phone number by entering the verification code sent to you via SMS.
You can also choose whether you want to use this number as your contact phone number for Seznam services.
Once the verification is successful, a confirmation message will be displayed informing you that the phone number has been verified and saved.
Don’t have a recovery phone number yet?
If you have not set a recovery phone number for your account, you will be reminded regularly to add one. The process is the same as when changing your phone number—you verify it using the code sent by SMS and by entering your current password.
