The grant program of Seznam.cz, a.s., “Seznam Grant for Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations” (hereinafter the Grant Program).
The Grant Program is primarily intended for non-governmental non-profit organizations registered in the Czech Republic (i.e., associations, public benefit corporations, institutes, foundations, and endowment funds under Czech law). Thus, entities can register for the Grant Program:
- That are not primarily established for the purpose of making a profit
- Whose activities aim to achieve a specific public benefit goal (e.g., volunteer work, humanitarian aid, human rights protection, activities in the field of youth, leisure, education and training, culture and arts, as well as social services and health, or environmental care)
The Grant Program is not intended for applicants:
- Who are involved in politics or religion as part of their activities
- Are established, founded, or funded exclusively by the state or other public corporations
- Are established by business corporations to fulfill their CSR strategies or for other charitable initiatives of business corporations. Seznam.cz, a.s., will select the grant recipients (hereinafter the Grant Recipient) from the grant applicants, and applications will generally be evaluated twice a year
Seznam.cz, a.s., reserves the right to select the Grant Recipient at its own discretion. Applicants have no legal claim to be included in the Grant Program, and Seznam.cz, a.s., is not obliged to justify the decision to select or not select a particular applicant.
Seznam.cz, a.s., will prioritize applicants who transparently publish mandatory documents related to their activities and are managed or represented by persons of integrity in the sense of the Trade Licensing Act. Applicants whose history or activities may damage the media image or reputation of Seznam.cz, a.s., or companies financially connected to it, will be excluded from participation in the Grant Program.
