However, we proactively notify users about the absence of a recovery phone number:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>during login<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in Account settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in the <a href=\"https:\/\/o-seznam.cz\/napoveda\/ucet\/en\/login\/ucet-sluzby\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/o-seznam.cz\/napoveda\/ucet\/en\/login\/ucet-sluzby\/\">Account profile<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>via a dialog shown in selected services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-link-external\">Each user has the option to verify their phone number. This information can then be used if the user <a href=\"https:\/\/login.szn.cz\/recover\/intro\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/login.szn.cz\/recover\/intro\">requests to recover a forgotten password<\/a>. In such cases, the account recovery request can be verified by sending an SMS message to the previously verified phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-seznam-box is-layout-flow wp-block-seznam-box-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong>&nbsp;For the recovery phone number to work correctly, you must set a number that you own and always have access to. If you change your phone number, remember to update it in your Account settings in time!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to verify your phone number<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-link-external\">Sign in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/login.szn.cz\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/login.szn.cz\/\">Account<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After signing in, go to the&nbsp;Account Security&nbsp;section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the line&nbsp;Phone number for password recovery, click the&nbsp;<em>Set<\/em>&nbsp;link on the right. You can find a list of international dial codes, for example, on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seznam_mezin%C3%A1rodn%C3%ADch_sm%C4%9Brov%C3%BDch_%C4%8D%C3%ADsel\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seznam_mezin%C3%A1rodn%C3%ADch_sm%C4%9Brov%C3%BDch_%C4%8D%C3%ADsel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wikipedia.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Wait for the SMS with the PIN code to arrive. If you don\u2019t receive the message within five minutes, check the number you entered. You can correct it by clicking&nbsp;<em>Edit number<\/em>. Alternatively, click&nbsp;<em>Resend<\/em>&nbsp;to receive a new code. In some cases, restarting your phone may help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re using a foreign phone number, find the procedure and detailed information\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/o-seznam.cz\/napoveda\/ucet\/en\/registration\/zahranicni-telefonni-cislo\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/o-seznam.cz\/napoveda\/ucet\/en\/registration\/zahranicni-telefonni-cislo\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-seznam-box is-layout-flow wp-block-seznam-box-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;You can receive a maximum of 6 SMS PIN codes per phone number in 24 hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter the code from the SMS into the&nbsp;<em>Verification code from SMS<\/em>&nbsp;field and confirm by clicking&nbsp;<em>Finish phone number verification<\/em>.
