An authentication app is a simple tool for your phone that displays a numeric code to verify your sign-in. Each account or service has its own unique code, which changes regularly.

When used together with your password, it adds another layer of protection to your account \u2013 like having a second key to a lock.

You can download it for free from the app store, just like any other app. Popular options include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy<\/strong>, but you can use a different one if you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

How does it work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • When you enable two-factor authentication in your Seznam Account, the system will prompt you to link the app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • In the app, select Add new account<\/em> and scan the QR code shown in your Account (or enter the code manually if you cannot scan the QR code).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • That\u2019s it \u2013 your account will appear in the app, along with a six-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
