Signing In with Two-Factor Authentication

When signing in to your Seznam Account with two-factor authentication enabled, you’ll be asked to verify your login by entering a one-time code from your authentication app after you’ve entered your password.

After entering the correct password, a window will appear prompting you to enter the code from your authentication app.

Once the code is successfully verified, you can choose whether to require two-factor verification every time in this browser, or to save the browser as trusted, meaning you’ll only need your password for future logins in that browser.

Having trouble verifying your login? Don’t have your verification device with you? Click the Having trouble verifying? link and follow the instructions provided.

If you use two-factor authentication through the Seznam.cz app, follow this process:

After entering your password successfully, you’ll see a message indicating that the system is waiting for verification of your login.

Still can’t verify your login? Don’t have your verification device with you? Click the Having trouble verifying? link and follow the steps provided.

A notification will appear on all your Seznam browsers that are set up for two-factor authentication, asking you to approve or deny the login attempt.

Unclear location?

The location shown in the notification may not exactly match the physical location of the device where the login attempt occurred. In some cases, it may be an approximate location based on your internet provider. Treat this location info as a general guideline only.

Click ALLOW to complete the login successfully.

Click DENY to return to the login form — the login will be cancelled, and you’ll immediately be offered the option to change your password.

Tip: If you successfully log in using two-factor authentication in any browser, you can add that browser as a trusted one for future logins.
